Hello! I\’m Gordon Morse, a Personal Language Coach from the Boston area of the USA. I have a Master\’s Degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, and ten years of experience teaching students of all levels and ages. I specialize in teaching English to Japanese learners of English. 

As a Personal Language Coach, I focus on helping clients increase the English skills they already have. Many Japanese learners of English feel stuck and don\’t know how they can improve, even after trying many different things. I have worked with many students like this, and thanks to those experiences I have developed my one-of-a-kind Natural English Speaking Course (NESCo)!

The most helpful thing in your class for me was to read the newspaper article about the strong wind. If I had read it alone, I couldn\’t have understood the last phrase grammatically forever, I think. To learn grammar, especially phrasal verbs was helpful for me, also. In addition, your explanations about American custom, common things for Americans and small talks were very helpful for me. – Ichikawa-san

I think using media like Youtube makes the class more interesting. Watching and listening to it makes things easier to remember. – Yoshimoto-san

What he teaches is not based on text books but on real life. I learned a lot of natural expressions in his classes. They are so practical that I often hear in town/in streets and can use them soon after his classes. – Saito-san

You can learn a wide range of phrases that Americans often use in everyday conversation, as well as expressions that can be used in business. It is a conversation-based class that uses texts suit for the student\’s wishes and levels, it helps improve pronunciation and listening skills. In addition, the difficult expressions peculiar to English can be learned with Japanese, which will deepen your understanding. – Sakamoto-san
